Araku Brew is an upcoming classic coffee concentrate brewed from the award winning, geographically indicated (GI) Araku Coffee. The 100% pure, unblended Arabica coffee is mild with notes of pepper and strawberry, which are the significant interspersed crops cultivated alongside coffee in the hills surrounding the Araku valley in the Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district of Andhra Pradesh state in India. To clarify, the ASR district was carved out recently from the larger Visakhapatnam district.
Sourcing the coffee
We source our Araku coffee beans as hulled and sun-dried produce directly from the tribal farmers of Araku valley and the surrounding hills. As a matter of fact, we do not blend coffee beans from different sources. To demonstrate the authenticity of the source of our Araku brew, we vlog every lot of the 100% Araku coffee beans, which is less than or equal to 30 kilograms in a jute sack.
Brewing the coffee
We specifically roast the Araku coffee beans in a pot made of clay sourced from the Araku hills. We then grind the roasted beans in a granite (stone) mill grinder. And, you guessed it right, we source the granite as well from the Araku area.
By all means, we ensure that unnatural flavors are not induced at any stage in the preprocessing of the coffee beans, as those will ultimately be used for our classic Araku brew. And, of course, we strive to retain the natural character of the Araku coffee as much as possible. Finally, we also vlog the processing and storing of each batch of the brew, which is less than or equal to three liters in an opaque ceramic jar.
Above all, we create a unique batch for each purchase order of the Araku brew. Moreover, we limit each order to a maximum of three liters. Ready to order your personal batch of Araku brew? Shop here.
